The stock FUCAs use rubber bushings for their mounts. These allow for a little bit of sideways wiggle-room, so if the tension rod's length doesn't have to be absolutely perfect--the bushings will allow the hub assembly to move slightly to where the tension rod is putting it. Adjustable FUCAs use bearings, not bushings. These have ZERO play. Without an adjustable length tension rod, there's a huge amount of stress being put against these bearings (assuming you can get the tension rods installed, lol). I see two alternatives: 1. Use a camber correction kit as ZiNnYc mentioned. This will help eliminate some excessive negative camber without replacing the FUCAs (or tension rods). 2. Use Stillen FUCAs. These use urethane bushings (grease fittings and all! rofl) which allow a little bit of side-to-side play like the stock FUCAs. However, the v2 is REALLY expensive, and the v1 have the shittiest adjustment/locking mechanisms conceivable.
